Job Vacancy.

Wanted: Caretaker, supervisor, to provide love, nurturing, financial and emotional security. If job is well done, in about eighteen years you will no longer be needed. Benefits include occasional hugs. No previous experiences necessary.
What kind of job is this, and why do we all apply for it? Is it for the feeling like no other that we can get when our son or daughter puts those tiny arms around your necks, looks into your eyes, and says “I Love you”?
If we are burdened out as parents, it may not be the job—but the way we perceive the job—that is to blame.

Being a parent has its frustrations, but it also has its rewards. I will think about how much joy I get from being a parent ;)
